For some of you, coming to this site is the direct result of receiving the testimony I gave you below in person, or you took a copy from one of two cups on my VW trike, (thus my biker name, "Hammer") or it was included with a picture I gave you. This site is a simple doorway for you to use, to increase your knowledge of Jesus Christ. Black Widow Rescue:
This is the true story of how the Lord rescued me from a Black Widow con-artist. Within a year of the rescue back in 2002, I put up a site called Victim-Assist.Info which I have taken down, and moved here without the Victim-Assist.Info logo.. This successful site has assisted many with the same, or similar circumstances worldwide.

Hammer's Testimony

First a little background. In the late 1970's, I was pushed away from God by overbearing Christians. I was interested, but they were so pushy, it caused me to react by distancing myself from Jesus and these people. One time, I accepted an invitation to their church, then I was invited to go on-stage with others who were praying for newbies, and speaking in tongues.

One guy put his hand on my shoulder, shaking it with each loudly spoken word in tongues. I was thinking to myself, what did I get into? How do I get out of here? These guys are NOT normal. He said over and over, "do you feel the Holy Spirit?" "Uh, sure." I replied, not knowing what they were talking about. "Then you should be speaking in tongues." "Uh, okay..." I listened, and proceeded to copy them to make them happy.

These folks succeeded in pushing me away, instead of pulling me closer to Jesus. But then, I think it was supposed to happen that way, please read on.

Around 1981 or 1982, I was opening up to God, saying to Him, here I am, what should I do? You know, you're in a rut, going to work, going home, going to sleep, gettin' up, and the cycle starts over, and over, and over again. As the repetition continued, I recognized I was spiritually empty too.

One Sunday morning, while sitting on my couch and listening to Christian TV (I live in a remote area, and at the time I could only get the audio, and not the video clearly too), I suddenly felt I was touched on my head, and in an instant, a tingling sensation went from head to toe, which lasted for a few days afterwards.

Wow... I knew I had been touched by God, but at the time I didn't know about the Trinity, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. A few months later, both audio and video coming through my TV, a little girl was asked by a pastor what it felt like to be Baptized by the Holy Spirit. I was astonished when she described exactly what I had experienced, and it really made me feel kinda special.

My eyes opened to the Lord from that point on, He has worked in my life many times since, from behavior modification, to opening doors, to saving my tail from perps, to leading me down many diversified paths allowing me to serve Him better, or simply making me happy.

Trials and turmoil occur over and over, as with most of us anyway, but with the Lord in the picture, these events allow you to grow and build an increasingly strong bond with Jesus.

Blind faith? Not here! Because of the way I was Baptized by the Holy Spirit under very controlled conditions (and the experiences with God since), I know with absolute certainty of His existence... it's not only a belief.
